We also offer volunteer opportunities to those who wish to provide support for incarcerated individuals, fostering a community of growth and resilience.

Our Inspiration....
The inspiration behind TURRN stems from my mother Chaplain Dorothy Presley, who has dedicated nearly two decades to serving incarcerated women. Her journey started as a volunteer chaplain, where she witnessed firsthand the painful cycle of recidivism. Too many women, upon release, found themselves returning to prison—not due to a lack of will to change, but because they faced overwhelming barriers with insufficient support for incarcerated individuals. She quickly recognized that a one-size-fits-all approach simply did not work; each woman faced unique challenges that required individualized care.
From this realization, TURRN was established. Grounded in my mother’s profound understanding of the struggles encountered by incarcerated women, the organization was created to address a crucial need for recidivism reduction. TURRN’s mission is to provide personalized resources and guidance that empower women to break free from the cycle of re-entry, rebuild their lives, and move forward with dignity and hope. At its core, TURRN stands as a testament to my mother’s unwavering commitment, her belief in the power of volunteer opportunities, and the idea that with the right support, lasting positive change is not only possible—it is inevitable.
